Overview

That old adage, Time is money, is truer today than ever before, especially in the fields of University & Medical and BioPharma research, where years worth of data retrieval can be accomplished in minutes.  Because of the high-definition search capabilities of Collexis patented software, pharmaceutical research and testing can progress with maximum speed and minimal error. In the university research field, the software allows libraries to expand upon their capabilities immeasurably and benefit all of their users.  Collexis goes beyond data retrieval to uniquely accomplish the ultimate objective of research – knowledge, which includes retrieval, management, and discovery.

The Comprehensive Skills and Knowledge Management Suite for the clinical environment

Through its German subsidiary SyynX Solutions, Collexis implemented a skills and knowledge management system for the largest private health care provider in Europe, the Asklepios Hospital Group, which operates over 100 hospitals in Germany. Starting with Collexis' Expert Profiling, Asklepios is now using a Collexis-based federated search solution, providing the user with a single interface for content from multiple publishers. In addition, every time users open a journal article, they are automatically presented with the relevant experts within their institution. At Asklepios, the solution was implemented as SharePoint portal WebParts.
