Company History

The company’s existence was a logical outgrowth of the efforts provided by a group of dedicated professionals within the scientific community.  Their shared objective was to develop and utilize a software program that would significantly improve the sharing of research outcomes with and amongst developing countries.  After many consecutive information-sharing achievements, the Collexis company was established in Europe in 1999, followed in 2006 by its U.S. counterpart.  As the company grew in size and scope, it evolved into Collexis Holdings, Inc., with three subsidiaries; Collexis Inc. in Columbia, South Carolina, USA, Collexis, B.V. in Geldermalsen, The Netherlands and SyynX Solutions GmbH in Cologne, Germany.  Today, Collexis operates on a global basis.
